Tofino, British Columbia
Miles of beautiful, sand-covered beaches, an old forest, and charming little stores can be found in the city.
Exploring Tofino’s stunning beaches is one of the most well-liked activities there. Tourism Tofino claims it to be “Canada’s Surf Capital,” so if you want to catch some waves, come here.
The “most lively beach on the Island” and a great surfing spot are Chesterman Beach and Long Beach, respectively. Long Beach is the longest beach on the west coast of Vancouver Island at 10 kilometers, and Chesterman Beach is one of the best beaches in the area. Tofino is renowned for its verdant rainforests and untamed coastline, making it an ideal place for hiking.
On the Elora website, the historic town is referred to as “Ontario’s most beautiful village” and features limestone structures, charming streets, and plenty of window-shopping possibilities. The Elora Quarry is “one of the most picture-perfect natural swimming holes near the GTA,” according to Caspersz, and attracts a ton of beachgoers during the summer.
The quarry has a tiny beach area and a turquoise pool encircled by soaring white cliffs. The neighboring gorge is a stunning location for treks and sightseeing. The Elora Mill is another notable feature of the community. The historic location contains a spa and a restaurant, making it a lovely place for a quick trip.
Charlie Hart, creator of Travel, believes that Canmore, located in Alberta’s Canadian Rockies, is the best small town in Canada. It is always beautiful, she says, whether you go in the summer or the winter, when you can stay warm in a cafe when it is snowing. Even while it can get busy, it’s still quieter than Banff and has stunning mountain vistas. The numerous hiking trails that surround the small town make it a fantastic vacation spot for those who love the outdoors.
The “spectacular turquoise lake” is reached by the Grassi Lakes Trail in Bow Valley Wildland Provincial Park, which also offers breathtaking vistas.
You can also spend some time in Canmore’s downtown, which is brimming with art galleries, inviting cafes, and charming stores.
Blue Mountain Village, Ontario
A Christmas must-see is the Holiday Magic at Blue event, which has an illuminated trail and engaging exhibits. I never skip going to Royal Majesty Espresso Bar to warm up with one of the delicious hot chocolates.
The remainder of the year, you may take advantage of lovely hiking routes and activities like the Ridge Runner Mountain Coaster, which zooms down a mountain on a track packed with curves. If you want to get pampered, visit the neighboring Scandinavia Spa and take advantage of the hot, cold, and relaxation cycles.
Chester, Nova Scotia
This is a charming little seaside hamlet on the South Shore of Nova Scotia,” she exclaims. You can stroll through the small town and browse the shops and cafes while watching the sailboats pass by. There are numerous walks and bike paths where you may enjoy the scenery in this area, which is known for its coastline.
The South Shore’s splendor is showcased along the Rum Runners Trail, which is a lovely day hike. Towering vistas may be seen at Castle Rock, along with “a vista that’s second to none.
